Is this thing on?

So, it's been a few sleeps since I updated my blog. I love the idea of having a blog, love reading other people's blogs, etc, but does the world really need another "mommy" blog? Who knows. I'll just get back in the saddle and see where we end up...

A few things I want to remember about my "baby" (19 months!) Silas right now:
Sy is still obsessed with "wubby" (his Bunnies By The Bay Tadbit lovey from the Weavers) and "bapi" his Born Free paci. Unfortunately BF decided to switch up their sizes right after he moved up to the older version. Now we're down to I think 5 bapis because he wants nothing to do with the ones they sell now.
He eats like a horse, but he's still tiny (22 lbs).
He finally loves a good snuggle session. I was quite disturbed that my potential last baby wanted nothing to do with being rocked, cuddled, worn, etc. He spent a good hour on my back in the Ergo last week and laid his head on my shoulder for a rest. Awww. Made my day!
Brother man LOVES music. His current fav is a Florence and the Machine song-He claps along to the beat. :)
He is enthralled by "Gabba yo yo." DJ Lance Rock, anyone?
He loves drinkable yogurt and runs to the fridge multiple times a day screaming "Yayo!" If you've ever seen Scarface you know why this cracks me up.
His vocabulary is fantastic, and he intensely watches you speak so he can repeat after you. Truly a little sponge!
He is a huge flirt and loves to give kisses, "Eskimos" and "butterflies" to anyone in the room before we leave.
He loves animals, especially cats, and says "Moooooww" all the time.
There's no containing him unless he's strapped in a highchair, stroller or car seat. Monkey baby is a climbing monkey!

I really could go on forever. This kid is a keeper! :)
